CWC LNG 2008 San Antonio

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

CWC's LNG San Antonio 2008 conference took place on 21-23 April 2008 and brought together over 300 delegates, 15 sponsors and more than 40 speakers to discuss the key issues facing the LNG industry in North America.

Feedback about the event has been outstanding and has reinforced this as the premier strategic LNG Conference in North America. The CWC LNG team would like to thank all our distinguished speakers, sponsors, and delegates for their enthusiastic participation and for making LNG San Antonio 2008 such a successful event.

  HIGHLIGHTS IN 2008:

• Speakers from NNPC, National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago, StatoilHydro, Sonatrach, Peru LNG really made this the event where North America meets the World's LNG suppliers
• A panel session with key players in Latin American LNG explored the impact that this important emerging LNG market is having on the industry
• Networking Round Tables hosted by King and Spalding LLP provided a chance for delegates to meet new people, discuss some key topics and relax over a drink
• A new interview panel looked at what it was really going to take for new terminals to be a success and come on stream.
• Once again, the golfers amongst our delegation enjoyed an afternoon of competition and networking at the second Annual Golf Tournament
• The Towers of the Americas provided fantastic views over San Antonio and a great back drop for the Informal Texan Buffet Dinner hosted by Cheniere. This informal evening was a highlight of the conference providing a chance to meet contacts old and new whilst taking in some great food and some Texan music.
• Consumer Panel Discussion gave an interesting insight into how both utilities and industrial users view LNG and the role they re playing in the industry.
